Muscovy Duck (Cairina moschata)

Above: A killer Muscovy Duck that attacked Matt Hafner at the Choptank Marina in Caroline Co., Maryland (2/21/2009). Below: Southern Florida in February 2004.

Below: A feral Muscovy Duck in Brownsville, Texas (4/21/2006).

Comments:  A feral/exotic species that is well-established in Florida, and commonly found elsewhere in the country. Wild Muscovy Ducks are found in the U.S. only in southernmost Texas. A face only a mother could love.
