Below: An immature Sabine's Gull at Conowingo Dam on the Susquehanna River, Harford/Cecil Counties, Maryland (10/1/2006). This species is very rarely seen inland, and this seems to be just the eighth time it's been reported in the state. There are currently only two accepted records for the state, with another (Seneca/Violette's Lock, 9/26/2005) in circulation. (Ref: Abridged MD/DCRC Database)
