Mountain Laurel (Kalmia latifolia)

Comments: Evergreen shrub that grows to about 30' tall. Flowers May to June, and blossoms can be red, pink, or white. All parts of the plant are poisonous. Also known as Spoonbush, as Native Americans used its wood to make spoons.
